The exhibition, inaugurated in the historical structure Vittoriano, was organised to remember and celebrate, after one year from his passing, Maestro Luciano Pavarotti as an artist either as a man.

“Pavarotti’s passing left the world of opera without an unconditioned protagonist, we will remember for a long time his virtuosity in the art of singing, the expressive intensity, the singular strength and the social commitment that made him a famous and appreciated figure all over the world and, in many ways, inimitable.Maestro’s extraordinary artistic heritage representing our country and our native land now belongs to the universal music patrimony and contributes to keep alive the sensitivity towards an expressive form that had and still has a widespread audience.”
Giorgio Napolitano
ex-President of the Italian Republic
