Second edition of the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation Opera Naples International Voice Competition

The Luciano Pavarotti Foundation – Opera Naples International Voice Competition supports the professional development of young opera singers by offering them the opportunity to perform before industry professionals and compete for artistic contracts.

The competition takes place over three rounds at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL, on March 13 and 14, and at Baker Park in Naples, FL, on March 15, 2026.

The competition promotes the professional growth of promising young opera singers from around the world, providing a platform to be heard by a panel of industry professionals and to compete for artistic contracts that can significantly contribute to their careers.

Each winner receives contracts with a minimum value of $10,000 to perform roles and/or concerts with Opera Naples and with other opera houses and presenters during the two seasons following the award.

Selected singers will participate in three rounds of live performances before the jury over three days, from March 13 to 15. Each contestant must prepare a minimum of six arias in the language(s) of their choice. The jury may select an aria from the submitted list for each round.

First Round:
Singers present at least two arias, for a maximum total duration of 10 minutes.

Semifinal:
Singers present at least two arias (different from those performed in the first round), for a maximum total duration of 10 minutes.

Final:
Singers perform arias selected by the jury from those presented in the previous rounds, for a maximum total duration of 10 minutes.
