10th anniversary of the Luciano Pavarotti Home Museum | Modena, 2025
The Pavarotti Foundation celebrated a major milestone with the public, friends and visitors.
10th anniversary since opening: 1 May 2015 – 1 May 2025
In 2015, the House Museum was created as a temporary initiative to welcome international visitors arriving in Italy for the Universal Exposition.
The intention was to keep it open to the public for six months, offering an intimate and authentic glimpse into the life and artistic career of Maestro. However, right from the start, the enthusiasm of the public exceeded all expectations: the warm response and active participation of visitors prompted the Foundation to transform what was supposed to be a temporary project into a stable and permanent reality.
Today, ten years later, the Home Museum is a well-established cultural institution, capable of combining memory and future, rooted in the Emilia region – so deeply linked to the Maestro’s identity – and at the same time projected towards a national and international audience. Emilia, with its history and innate musicality, has always been an integral part of Maestro’s DNA: an “Emilianity” proudly carried throughout the world and which still today represents an essential element of his identity.
The Home Museum is an unrivalled tourist attraction, set in one of the richest and most appreciated geographical and historical-cultural contexts of the entire country.
Every day, a visit to this place allows you to discover Luciano Pavarotti in the warm light of his rooms, gently approaching his memory and discovering the man at home, away from his role as a great artist.
