Musica Maestro! | Modena, 2024
The MUSICA MAESTRO! festival took place in the garden of the Luciano Pavarotti Home Museum in Modena. Now in its fourth year, the event has expanded its offering to the public each year, with a corresponding increase in popularity and attendance. The initiative offered high-profile artistic entertainment and leisure events, networking with local organisations and individuals in order to enrich the cultural, musical and food and wine scene of the entire region.
The event was divided into different sections to meet a variety of needs and expectations.
BUONGIORNO AT CASA PAVAROTTI
Picnics – Sunday concerts in the grounds of the House Museum
Each event offered participants the opportunity to enjoy breakfast outdoors in the garden of the Home Museum, listen to live performances by young opera singers accompanied by piano, take a tour of the Home Museum and finish with an aperitif featuring typical Modena products. The “Buongiorno” is a light-hearted and enjoyable introduction to opera, even for the youngest members of the families who regularly attend.
SINTONIZZIAMOCI ! (LET’S TUNE IN!)
Several events dedicated to current affairs were proposed.
Wide-ranging topics were addressed that we are all “tuned into”, issues that closely affect every citizen and society as a whole, with prestigious speakers offering interesting insights and opportunities for reflection.
The guests for the 2024 edition were:
Stefano Massini, I lived for art
Stefano Mancuso, Rethinking society from scratch
Serena Dandini with Orsetta De Rossi and Annalisa Corrado, Muses and Mothers
Gad Lerner and Enzo Bianchi, The Holy Land and the fetishism of the earth

FINAL EVENING – APERinCANTO
Musical aperitif for the final evening of the festival
In the evocative setting of the garden, it was a pleasure to bid farewell to this edition of the festival and make a date for next summer with a convivial evening combining two of our region’s excellences: food and music.
The farewell took the form of a tasty aperitif prepared by Chef Luca Marchini: excellent raw ingredients brought out traditional flavours and more… because good food also brings to the table the pleasure of being together and emotions to share.
Immediately after the aperitif, there was a live concert featuring young singers supported by the Pavarotti Foundation.
In keeping with its mission, the festival was included in the BELCANTO MODENA FESTIVAL, a new event that sees Modena as a leading exponent of the national opera tradition.
