Pavarotti 90 – The Voice, the Man, the Legend | Shanghai, 2025
On October 12, 2025, Shanghai Opera House hosted a prestigious opera concert organized in collaboration with the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation, which was granted worldwide exclusivity for the commemorative event marking the ninetieth anniversary of the Maestro’s birth.
The evening took shape as a high-profile international tribute of outstanding artistic caliber, strengthening the cultural dialogue between Italy and China through the universal language of music. The Foundation’s President, Nicoletta Mantovani, personally addressed the audience, delivering the institution’s official greetings and sharing the profound significance of the anniversary.
Internationally renowned artists such as Gregory Kunde, Yusif Eyvazov, and Olga Peretyatko performed alongside young talents supported by the Foundation, Emanuele Pellegrini and Giulia Mazzola, as well as Chinese artists Yu Haolei, Xu Xiaoying, Wang Xiaoxi, and He Chao. The performances were accompanied by the orchestra and chorus of the Shanghai Opera House, presenting a program of great expressive intensity.
