Pavarotti forever | Astana (Kazakistan), 2017
During its visit to Kazakhstan, the Emilia-Romagna Region took the opportunity to promote the region both through tourism promotion activities organised in collaboration with APT and through a prestigious cultural event at the Opera Theatre in Astana, where a tribute to Maestro Luciano Pavarotti was celebrated.
A concert dedicated to the memory of the great Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti took place at the Astana Opera Chamber Hall as part of the EXP0-2017, on the occasion of the opening of the Emilia-Romagna Week. To celebrate the great opera singer from Modena on the 10th anniversary of his passing, on September 3, famous Italian artists performed in the special event “Pavarotti Forever” presented by Emilia-Romagna Region and the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation, in co-operation with ATER – Emilia-Romagna Theatre Association and the Embassy of Italy in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The artists who participated were Jenish Ysmanov, Claudia Sasso, Paolo Andreoli, Andrea Griminelli.
