Crossover Night ⎮Merano, 2026
On the occasion of Palace Merano’s 120th anniversary, the “Palace Merano 120th Anniversary Concert with Luciano Pavarotti Foundation” took place on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 8:00 PM at the Puccini Theatre in Merano. The evening was designed to celebrate the history of the historic hotel complex and to pay tribute to the deep bond that connected Maestro Luciano Pavarotti to the city and the property, which he frequented for long periods dedicated to wellness and physical recovery.
Presenting the theme “Crossover Night – Music Without Borders, Between Opera and Pop,” the concert featured young performers supported by the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation. Taking the stage were tenor Francesco Lucii, soprano Eva Macaggi, and pop singer Enrico Zoni, accompanied by the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation Orchestra Ensemble.
The young talents performed a varied repertoire spanning from the most famous traditional opera arias to the greatest hits of Italian and international music. The entire artistic project was inspired by the innovative and inclusive spirit of the renowned Pavarotti & Friends, creating an evocative dialogue between different generations and musical languages.
The event was made possible thanks to the synergy with the Foundation chaired by Nicoletta Mantovani, with the institutional collaboration of the Municipality of Merano, which supported the evening as a token of gratitude toward an establishment fundamental to the history, international prominence, and economic development of the local community. Special guests of the evening were Nicoletta Mantovani and Zinedine Zidane.
