Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti Orchestra

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Maestro Luciano Pavarotti’s birth and eighteen years after his passing, on Tuesday, 30 September 2025, the Verona Arena will host a unique international event designed to celebrate the career and musical legacy of the great Maestro.

In Verona, some of the most eminent artists on the international opera scene will perform on stage, in particular tenors who had the privilege of sharing not only a long career with Luciano Pavarotti, but also a deep friendship. 

The event will also feature prestigious icons from the pop music scene, those “two hemispheres” that Luciano Pavarotti managed to unite with great generosity in the name of solidarity. 

The artists’ performances will be accompanied by the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation Orchestra, an ensemble created to honour the artistic legacy of the famous tenor. Composed of young musicians of extraordinary talent, the orchestra combines the solid roots of classical musical tradition with a marked openness to new musical languages and trends.

The concert will also feature young voices from the international opera scene, whom the Maestro mentored and inspired, performing gems from the repertoire that he made familiar to millions of people around the world.

In keeping with the Maestro’s lifelong commitment to the most needy and to young people, part of the proceeds from the concert will go to Antoniano in Bologna for “Operazione Pane” and part to the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation to support young opera singers and the Home Museum in Modena.
